Here's a basket quilt I made last year, using a similar method taught by Gwen Marston. These handles are strips cut on the bias and steamed into shape, then top-stitched. The whole thing measures about 42" square.
Nifty, You just have given me enough motivation to finish my quilt before Saturday. Little grand niece, Meera has arrived into the world. Mother is an artist. This will be a perfect quilt to give as a gift when they come to our home this Saturday. Wish me luck!
