First I made the fabric....
then I made a basket block

Well mine is a bit more reserved than Sujata's...but I had fun making it!
I took my inspiration from the many liberated basket quilts by Gwen Marston and made it my own...
this was fun I hope to make a basket a day till I have a quilt top!

    Kathie,

    I really like this basket. I will make smaller baskets from now on so they can all fit in a quilt top. A basket a day sounds great!

    Darling Kathie! I think variety should be the 'no-rule' rule for liberated quilting, anyway! Once we all start trying to follow or copy one another, the liberation would be at an end and we'd all be followers, any way!
