I finally decided I was going to go with the quilt
design marked out by Sujata, it may be a slightly large block size though.
As usual I'm going with my bright and bold plus a few solids, at least
that's the present plan.
Fabrics collected as of now
and I would dearly love to add this fabric below if possible
yes, I must find a place for it somewhere.
Pattern presently being drawn out and I'm hoping to make a test block
over the coming weekend.
See you soon.

Love your fabric choices. You must definitely put that gorgeous fabric in somewhere, maybe use it in one of the centre blocks.
ReplyDeleteI had thought about the centre blocks, it would be good to see a reasonably sized piece of this particular fabric.
DeleteYou are going for a riot of colour! Now I have to see what I can use. That last fabric you show above is exquisite; it's a pity to cut it small.
ReplyDeleteIf I use it in the centre blocks I could even do a little fussy cutting, I'm going to have the blocks a little larger than suggested so more of the fabric could be seen.
DeleteWow. That is going to be gorgeous. (I just made a bag with that daisy fabric, third from the bottom.) I feel very 'tame' with my batik collection...I might need to up my game. :)

ReplyDeleteGoofed with the first comment!! The daisy fabric is a favourite and I just had to add some of this to the mix,I love the wonderful colours available in batiks and here may be a few added to this collection.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! I am going to take part too, just have to get some other quilts lined up properly first.
ReplyDeleteI would be curious to see what happens when large and small prints combine for this pattern. Such gorgeous fabrics are in one frame!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful selection of fabrics.
